Hey! I'm Kellie
About 16 years ago, I bought my first spray tan machine. Armed with enthusiasm (and very little training), I offered spray tans in my spare time while studying full-time beauty therapy. Did I have a clue what I was doing? Absolutely not. But the girls who left my little makeshift home salon walked out smiling, feeling and looking like a million bucks - and that was all that really mattered to me.Fast forward 16 years, a few career plot twists, a ton of training, a lot of spray tans, and more hues of orange than I care to admit - I’d like to think I’ve picked up a few tricks along the way. Part of working as a professional makeup artist for global brands and broadcasting networks, taught me the ins and outs of colour theory (which, as it turns out, is pretty useful for avoiding tangerine disasters!)So why am I back with a spray gun in hand? Because a fresh tan is pure magic. It’s one of the most underrated beauty treatments - instantly transforming how you look and feel. I’ve got the experience, the skills, and the time, so why not use them to give people that confidence boost? How Do I Prep & Care for My Spray Tan?
Great Tans Start with Great Prep!
I'll send you full prep and aftercare instructions before your appointment, but here are the most important steps to follow:Before Your Spray Tan:
Shave or Wax: Shave at least 12 hours before or wax 48 hours before your appointment. (Men, feel free to skip this one!)
Exfoliate Like a Pro: Use exfoliating gloves and an oil-free body scrub to slough off dead skin. Smooth skin = a flawless tan!
Come Clean: Arrive with bare skin—no moisturiser, deodorant, makeup, or perfume. These can mess with how the tan develops.
After Your Spray Tan:
First Rinse: Rinse with water only - no soap! Use your hands to help guide the bronzer off your skin and keep rinsing until the water runs clear.
Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Start moisturising the next morning (or the next day if your tan was in the morning). Moisturising daily keeps your tan glowing longer - twice a day gets you extra brownie points!
Pat, Don’t Rub: After showering, gently pat dry with a towel. Rubbing = patchy tan.
Ditch the Dove: Avoid Dove products before and after your tan - they contain harsh ingredients that can strip your colour.

Do I still need to wear sunscreen?
Yes! Spray tan solutions do not contain an SPF, so continue to use sunscreen as normal 12 hours following your spray tan.
How long will my spray tan last?
A spray tan typically lasts 5-10 days, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Moisturising daily helps it last longer!
Will I turn orange?
Nope! Tanning solutions today are customisable and designed to complement your skin tone when used correctly. Following your customised rinse time guide will help prevent your tan from over developing.
Will my tan stain my sheets or clothes?
The bronzer can transfer onto light fabrics while your tan develops, but it usually washes out. Wearing dark clothing and using darker sheets for the first night is a good idea.
Can I get a spray tan if I’m pregnant?
Yes! The ingredients are generally safe, but if you're unsure, check with your doctor first.
How soon before an event should I book my spray tan?
Ideally, 1-2 days before your event to let the tan fully develop and settle.

We reserve the right to decline bookings based on location, accessibility, or safety. Travel surcharges may apply for appointments outside standard service areas; this will be communicated at the time of enquiry or booking.3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Bookings: All appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed via written communication (email, text, or DM).Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure your booking.Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee.
